Mostertdrift is located in the Stellenbosch region off the Koelenhof Road off the R304. It is a 13 ha farm, with newly planted vines, such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The 36-year-old Hanepoot (Muscat d’ Alexandrie) vineyard is enjoyed as an eating grape, dry white wine and also to make the most wonderful grape jam (korrel konfyt). We also have three varieties of plums on the farm and when harvested, these are delivered for export. We have recently completed our tasting room. Here you can enjoy a light lunch and have a wine tasting with the winemakers, Anna Maree or Andre, (ON appointment only). Tel:0731949221 We have just completed bottling our new wines and we are looking forward to a great 2010 season. We are looking forward in seeing you soon! |
